Pacific Northwest printmaker and mixed media artist Vanessa Lanza uses salvaged and locally sourced wood. Each woodcut reveals what that tree lived through. All of her cyanotypes are processed using PNW ocean water, sometimes right at the beach, other times with water she's brought back to her home studio in Gig Harbor, WA.
