Join local artist Pat Askren for a Valentine's Day workshop painting a Story Heart at Local Whimsy. Inspired by the wonderful Mexican art form of Milagros, Pat will create a new drawing for you to add your personal touch painting with acrylic ink.

Milagro, or "Miracle" refers to the small images usually nailed onto a wooden form, of the ordinary things of life that are important to us. Our version will have lots of Harbor references!

Pat Askren is a local watercolor + mixed media artist based locally, right here in Gig Harbor. A regular collaborator here at Local Whimsy, between teaching inspiring workshops and selling her original watercolors she keeps us grounded in our Harbor roots.
